The Beginning Your Journey course is complete with 40 easy-to-digest videos all with an accompanying printable guide for you to reference and work through. Once you enroll in the course, you'll have access forever and be able to work at your own speed.

This course is meticulously and thoughtfully laid out so you won't struggle with gaps in your flute playing.

While it starts out very basic, in the second module, you'll be introduced to using a metronome and tuner as we explore beyond the basic scale so you truly understand all the notes and have an intuitive experience with rhythm.

You do not need to learn to read music to enjoy this course!

    Glad I did this

    I’m happy with my beginner flute and lessons. I printed out all the pdf’s and have been practicing 1-2x/day. Every time I practice I can see a little improvement. I don’t think I would have stuck with it and felt confident that I can continue to improve without at least some sort of organized and thorough program like this one. Jonny is easy to understand, makes things clear, gives off positive vibes. I definitely recommend this program and flute. My husband wants to learn now, too. After a lot of searching I purchased him a very similar flute from Etsy and kept my fingers crossed it would be good. It cost us almost as much as my flute and the lesson package together.

    Going at it slowly

    I have just started module 201 this morning. Module 101 was slow for me but it has picked up after moving into module 201. I really needed the guided exercises and making them part of my daily practice. I’m 74 years old and venturing into my first wind instrument of any kind. I know learning to play the Native flute does not come through osmosis so the practice of hand coordination and breath have been good for this old geezer. I am also finding the pdf book to be a very good companion for the course. I do like how each session is broken down into small and easily handled videos for me. Again, the pace is just right for me. Too fast or slow and I would have fallen off earlier. The slow pace and taking my time is exactly what I need. I love the sound of the Native flutes and want this to be a part of my spiritual journey. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, I have already purchase one of the Joe Loftin flutes because it looked beautiful and I will eventually be able to play both. Having said that, I am also enjoying the Little Horse flute buy Butch Hall. Perfect my needs.

    When I told my kids and grandkids I had bought a flute and was taking lessons, I got nothing but encouragement. First concert for them is scheduled for early November!!!! 😂

    A Wonderful Introduction

    Jonny breaks the learning into digestible little bites. He introduces the basics of our instruments with patience care. It works best to follow Jonny's recommendation, and use a flute in the key of A. That way, you can match your sound to Jonny's.
